  the land march

We have been learning about Whina Cooper and how she walked from Cape Reinga to Wellington.

I liked how the people at the meatworks in Morewa dropped their knives and went outside to support the Hikoi.

I think Dame Cooper is pretty cool because she was an old lady and she walked all the way. As she walked to Wellington more and more people joined to support her.

leadership & Goverment

Leaders don't create followers, they create more leaders

It means to be a good leader is to help empower the other people in the team to become leaders themselves. By helping everyone it means the team is stronger and will perform better, and by identifying each person's strengths and weaknesses you can choose where they are best put.

A good leader does not judge a person for any of their differences.

A leader means to me being able to change someone going the wrong way to get them going back the right way,

I think that some good leaders are sports people like netball.

Great leaders don't set out to be a leaders. They sit out to make a Difference

It never about the role-always about the  goal.

Kelvin Glen Davis (born 2 March 1967) is a New Zealand politician.

And  hes his a We heard Amy Adams talking about how under John Key and Bill English, things would've been acted on decisively and that none of them would be here if they had lost the confidence of the Prime Minister of the day. Well, I've got a two-word question for that. The two-word question is Judith Collins. Why is she still here.

Being Globally Minded

These are the concepts we studied about in Social Studies this term. I will now show you my understanding of these words.

Economy: An economy is the large set of inter-relater it is a way to the life.

Trade: Is buying and selling from another person.

Globalisation: Has to do with global movement around the world.

My exported product i researched was Buzzy Bee. I found out that this product is made in NZ, it is very famous and worth quite alot of money. I enjoyed researching this product because I was able to learn more about it and see where this item is being sold around the world.

9T English

 This Year in English

This Year in English was fun and cool. Whaea was grumpy at the boys all the time in 9T because they kept on screaming at each other nearly every lesson. My favourite topic in English was when we did the environmental problem test. The environmental problem I wrote about was how to stop the water from being dirty. If we don't clean the water then all the rubbish and green stuff will make us sick and pollute the water. If we don't have clean water we could die.

The work we did in class was cool. Boffy and Jonny helped me this year with my English mahi. We did mahi about creative writing. I liked the activity where we described nouns with adjectives. The favourite one I wrote was describing Lulu. I said "Lulu has pretty blue eyes." My favourite simile that I wrote was "the tree is as tall as Mahuta." I also talked to Mahuta, Waiorere, Jarian, Mihipeka, Ebony, Blaze and Chicken a lot.

Next year I hope that I don't muck around and talk too much to everyone. I also hope that Whaea Jaz has the best year with me.

The Ngahere

 The Ngahere

The ngahere is big, atahua and mataku. Our class is a ngahere because its like the trees talking to eachother loudly. The moana is as blue as the sky. The harakeke is long and Kakariki. The tree has arms that manu and possums live in.

In the Ngahere the tui sings beautifully. Manu quickly fly on top of the moana, looking for delicious fish to eat while pretty Pukeko pop manus in the creek.
